Retro-Commissioning (RCx) is the best way to optimize your building, update your controls, and ensure your HVAC systems are operating efficiently. Our extensive experience with RCx and data driven approach allows us to identify more measures with greater accuracy of results. Typical payback is 2-5 years with some as low as 6 months.
SES is an approved consultant for the BC Hydro Continuous Optimization program (COp), and we often recommend a variation on the COp process (investigation, implementation, and coaching) for optimal results and persistence of savings.

A typical retro-commissioning project includes an analysis of HVAC and controls to provide a list of energy conservation measures that meet your financial and operational targets. We can also include lighting and other systems at your request.
While the focus is on re-commissioning, we include a high level analysis of capital projects so you have the information you need to make effective decisions. You will also receive detailed mechanical inventories to help with implementation.
